Using Debian for Hardware Design
Using Debian as a platform for electronic design and micro-controller programming is completely reasonable, as proven by the success of projects such as those at http://altusmetrum.org. This session is envisioned as an opportunity for sharing best practices and identifying improvements in Debian that would benefit hardware designers.
