Debian and meteorology
In the last 2 years I've been working in a weather centre and I got to know, write and maintain a bit of meteorology-oriented software in Debian.
If someone else is coming to DebConf who works in a weather centre or writes / uses / maintains related software, we could setup a meeting of some kind (like a BoF).
If no other person who works in the field of meteorology will be there, some people have expressed interest in hearing what goes on anyway, so the event may become more of an informal chat than a BOF.
