I've conducted a study among Debian contributors to identify the influences that shape our decisions when it comes to adopting or rejecting a new tool/technique into our workflows, or the workflows of teams to which we belong. In this talk, I present some of the findings and offer hints and suggestions for tool/technique supporters to increase the adoption rate in the project.
