Debian Installer development for Lenny BoF
Open discussion with current D-I developers and other interested developers/users about development of the installation system during the Lenny development cycle.
The Debian Installer has matured quite a lot since its first release with Sarge.
However, in the run-up to Lenny quite a bit of regular maintenance will be needed. There are also some areas where improvement is possible, especially regarding memory usage and performance. And then there are the known (and unknown) improvements and enhancements that should/could be implemented.
