Herding Cats for Aiur
Video recordings and live internet streams of a growing number of Gnu/Linux and Free Software conferences around the world are being produced by teams of volunteers using largely donated resources and Free Software running on Linux. This talk discusses the hardware and software used for a variety of the productions in which DebConf videoteam members have participated. The software covered includes dvswitch and tools from xiph.org. Challenges and experiences with regard to quality sound, lighting, volunteer organization and workflow management will also be touched upon.
