tmarble is a Free Software advocate and has worked on the liberation of Java
Tom Marble is the OpenJDK Ambassador at Sun Microsystems. He facilitates the collaboration of technical minds and promotes community development for OpenJDK: Sun's open source implementation of the Java SE Platform.
Tom has been with Sun for 10 years and has had positions as the Chief Technologist for emerging customers in the USA and as Senior Java Performance Engineer. Tom Marble has a Masters of Science in Electrical Engineering and Biomimetics from the University of Minnesota.
