Gabriella Coleman

A free software user since 1997, I have been actively studying the free software community, with a special focus on the specialist of projects, Debian since more or less 2001. I am in the middle of writing a book on the topic of the ethics and politics of free software (and in the middle of nowhere in Canada) but will be joining NYU's Department of Culture and Communication in the fall of 2007 and will return to the middle of everything.
